AnyPS5 development notes: issues and pull requests
Reviewed AnyPS5 changes affecting game startup, rendering, fonts and controls. See what has merged, what remains open and which results still need a game test.
How to read this page
A merged change is not a new game test. Open proposals may change or never ship. Check the commit and release before following a new setup instruction.
The notes below are editorial summaries of selected upstream issues and pull requests. They retain the reported scope, current review state and merged commit where available. They are not a complete changelog or a promise that the latest release includes each change.

A proposed limit for draw-input snapshots
This open PR follows issue #3338 and proposes a 64 MiB default cap. Its listed validation is a Windows conventions check, not a new Linux gameplay recording. The proposal must not be presented as a merged or release-ready fix.
Cyberpunk 2077: Linux startup investigation
The main-build report stops on EISDIR and documents later experimental probes. Headless compute work without a captured frame is not gameplay evidence.
Cyberpunk modules can reach the executable entry
The merged change addresses imports and the game-bundled Galaxy wrapper. Reaching the ELF entry is an early startup milestone; its throwing stubs do not implement every service.

Wobbly Life: declared module identity for imports
Merged import binding removes one ambiguity in the relinker. The author’s tests cover conversion and module selection, not completed interactive gameplay.

Rift Apart: large CPU snapshots stall rendering
A Linux report locates a post-logo black screen in per-draw buffer snapshots. Its local size cap trades correctness risk for progress and should not be promoted as a general fix.
Part II Remastered: startup memory accounting
The pinned Windows run traps in the game’s own budget calculation before a menu. The source asks for memory-accounting evidence; it does not establish a safe universal subtraction or bypass.
A pthread attribute used by Returnal
Merged support implements the attribute alias and associated checks. The reported tests validate API behaviour. They do not verify that Returnal or Palworld now reaches gameplay.

HTTP wait and abort behaviour
An open issue discusses unimplemented wait/abort paths and a proposed branch. Palworld imports a related function, but an import listing is not evidence of a working multiplayer session.
Windows controller discovery can block startup
The open PR proposes disabling DirectInput enumeration for the HID hang described in issue #1042. It is not part of a stable release recommendation; attach device details when investigating the hang.
A proposed native input configuration editor
The open proposal adds a separate SDL/ImGui editor and live mappings. Its interface and shortcuts remain proposal details, not instructions guaranteed to work in v0.1.1.
Sampler border colours follow the image type
Merged handling distinguishes integer and float border colours using paired image formats. It addresses a specific sampling case; it does not measure overall game graphics compatibility.

Font handles retain language and design settings
Merged setters/getters retain values per font handle. The source marks parts of the signatures unverified on PS5 hardware; this does not mean every game’s multilingual text is fixed.
